I have been using the Fort MacLeod Vet Clinic for the majority of my 11 year old dog’s life. They have provided a range of care to my dog, most significantly bilateral TPLO’s. Dr. Baker is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. His care follows through to long-term rehabilitation goals to ensure that the animal has the best outcome possible. You can tell that all the staff at this vet clinic really care about the animals they work with. Anytime I chat with someone who has a pet I recommend that they go to this vet clinic. Whenever I call an appointment is always available within a reasonable time frame, the prices are unmatched, and they promote other small businesses including Chinook Canine Rehabilitation in Lethbridge. What a kind hearted clinic. Dr Kayla was so kind and helpful when I had to call in after hours. The next morning, Kim, vet student Carly and all the reception staff kindly accommodated my last minute appt for our sick kitten. Thank you for helping us try to give Noah a chance at this life. I truly cannot say enough good things about the team at Fort Macleod Vet. Our journey with them has been a long one with my big guy Prince, and through every appointment, surgery, scare, and follow-up, they have gone above and beyond to care for him like he’s their own dog. Prince is a very large breed with some ongoing orthopedic issues, and the amount of patience, compassion, and attention they show him (and me as a nervous dog mom) has been incredible. They are always accommodating with scheduling, quick to answer questions, and genuinely take the time to explain everything so you never feel rushed or dismissed. Even during stressful moments, I’ve always felt supported and confident that Prince is in the best hands possible. What really sets them apart is how much they truly care. Every staff member knows Prince by name, treats him with so much love, and celebrates his wins right alongside us. That kind of personal care is rare, and it makes all the difference when you’re trusting someone with a family member. I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else for Prince’s care. We will always be loyal clients and I will recommend Fort Macleod Vet to anyone looking for a clinic that treats your pets like their own.
